If you are interested in reffing in the broomball league please come out to the broomball rink on Wednesday, November 23rd at 7:00 pm. The 2011 Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Yukon Broomball Association was held Saturday, October 15, 2011.
Election of officers
President - Milford Allain, elected for a two year term
Vice President - Scott Smith, elected for a two year term
Treasurer - Sandra Beitz, elected for a two year term
Statistician - Diane Stewart, elected for a one year term
Ref-in-chief - Jason Murphy, elected for a one year term
Secretary - Tara Schultz, elected for a one year term
Director - Chris Bookless, , elected for a one year term
Director - Blayne Epp, , elected for a one year term
Director - Ryan Hannah, , elected for a two year term
Director - Craig Mitchell, elected for a two year term
Bob Park Ice Breaker Tournament is scheduled for November18,19,20. The tournament fee is $600, deadline for team fees to be paid is Friday, October 28th, 2011 at Sport Yukon. League registration and fee payment will also be done at the opening tournament. League Fees are $100 per player and must be paid before the first game.
Northern Cup,Yellowknife, is scheduled for January 27, 28, 29. Interested players will need to commit to travel in the near future, more details will be provided soon.
